Sarah Lucretia Nott, 21, of Point Pleasant, died Friday, March 21, 2014, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV.She was born September 18, 1992, in Huntington, the daughter of Russell G. Nott Jr. and Brenda L. (Layton) Nott of Point Pleasant.Sarah was a very caring and compassionate daughter. She was a third year student at Marshall University, where she was studying advertising, was a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, and had been a member of the Rugby team. In addition to her parents, Rusty and Brenda Nott she is survived by a sister, Vickie Lynn Bale of Point Pleasant; one brother, Kevin R. Nott of Point Pleasant; maternal grandfather, Edward F. Layton of Point Pleasant; four nieces; two nephews; and pups, Maddie and Molly.She was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Pearl Alline (King) Layton; and paternal grandparents, Russell G. Sr. and Nellie Gertrude (Luckeydoo) Nott.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Nancy Hern officiating.
