Michael Odell Flory

Michael Odell Flory, 65, of Nelsonville, OH, formerly of Apple Grove, WV, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was born September 1, 1956, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Chester Odell Flory and Bernice Frances (Wray) Flory. Michael was a member of Hambrick Church of Southside. He loved his family and friends, fishing and going to church. Michael was a retired truck driver from Barrnunn Trucking Company. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tina Marie (Harris) Flory of Nelsonville; four children, Stacy Lynn Flory of Gallipolis Ferry, Michael Anthony Flory of Logan, OH, Amy Dawn (Joe) Gang of Logan and Shawn Lucas (Angela) Hadley of Leon;three stepchildren, Tina Annette (Danny) Koska of Logan, Melissa Sue Starlin of Rockbridge, OH and Derrick Shane Flory of Logan;10 grandchildren, Taylor West (Emily Bennett), Jezzariah Gang (Joe Noble), Austin Hadley, Zackary Hadley, Jacob Harper, Alliee Boals, Madyson Flory, Joey Gang, Michael Flory and Clay Flory; two great grandchildren, Ethan Noble and Mackenzie Noble; a brother, Ronald M. (Jillian) Flory of Apple Grove; two sisters, Tammy Dawn Flory of West Columbia,and Tammie Vincent of Michigan; and a grand pup, Ellie Mae. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2022, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Jeff Seitz officiating. Burial will follow at Jeffers Ridge Cemetery in Southside. Visitation will be from 11-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
