Lillian Gail Chapman

Lillian Gail Chapman, 68, of Henderson, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Rivers Health in Point Pleasant.

She was born March 5, 1956, in Gallipolis, OH, a daughter of the late Douglas "Pete" Mitchell and Betty Jane (Likens) Mitchell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shelia Lynn Moore; and brother, Granville D. "Pete" Mitchell.

Gail is survived by her husband of 46 years, Clarence "Dusty" Chapman of Henderson; a daughter, Crystal Gail Chapman of Henderson; a granddaughter, Alexis Gail Chapman of Henderson; grandson, Kaden Michael Durst of Henderson; two sisters, Carolyn (Robert) Wamsley of Gallipolis Ferry and Mary Jane (Charles) Fisher of Delaware, OH; s sister-in-law, Sandra Sue Mitchell of Henderson; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Doug Mitchell and Brandon Moore officiating.  Burial will follow at Rogers Cemetery in Henderson.  Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
