Brenda Gail Blaine

Brenda G. Blaine, 70, of Gallipolis, OH, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at home.

She was born February 2, 1954, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas Richard Farley and Rosemary (Runyon) Farley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl Utley Blaine; sons, Wesley Scott Blaine and Cole Utley Blaine; and a brother, Cameron Farley.

Brenda was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1972.  During her high school years she was a very proud member of the Point Pleasant High School Marching Band, where she played clarinet, served as a majorette and then became drum major. After high school graduation she furthered her education at Ohio University where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. She was also very involved with the Boy Scouts while her boys were growing up.  Brenda had worked as an accountant for M.S. Accounting in Athens, OH.

She is survived by sons, Ryan Eric Blaine of Millfield, OH and Jesse Evan Blaine of The Plains, OH; and her companion, Reed Blain of Gallipolis.

In honoring Brenda's request, private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
