Zachariah Luther Harris Jr.

Zachariah Luther Harris Jr., 59, of Letart, left us Monday, September 28, 2020, while hunting. He was born November 24, 1960, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Zachariah Luther Harris and Lois Ann (Wood) Bumgarner. Zack loved being outdoors, and had a passion for farming. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Norris Bumgarner; brother-in-law, Jim Chastain; and a niece, Jordan Miller. Zack is survived by his wife, Katrinka V. (Hart) Harris of Letart; sons, Luke (Jill) Harris of New Haven and Travis (Tiffany) Harris of Hutto, TX; five grandchildren, Meghan Jordan, Mason Jordan, Wyatt Harris, Nate Harris and Reagan Harris; and mother and dad, Lois and Thomas Bumgarner of West Columbia. He is also survived by two sisters, Barbara Chastain of New Bern, NC and Lori (Steve) Miller of High Point, NC; two brothers, Roger Bumgarner of Letart and Brad (Ana) Bumgarner of Reidsville, NC; nieces and nephews, April Cook, Tommy Bumgarner, Matt Miller, Taylor Hill, Katie Bumgarner and Emma Bumgarner; several great nieces and great nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne "Stormy" and Mary Hart of Letart; and many special friends that he enjoyed spending time with. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Tim Cottrill officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Letart. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.
