Woodrow D. Clark

Woodrow Daniel "Dan" Clark, 70, of Letart, WV, died Friday, February 5, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born May 7, 1945, in Beckley, a son of the late Woodrow Clark and Ruth Cleveland (Reynolds) Clark. Dan was a member of the Clifton Lodge #23 of Mason and Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne, IN. He was retired from General Telephone & Electronics Corporation in Fort Wayne, IN. Dan was a very caring person who loved to talk. He enjoyed bird watching, camping, photography and the great outdoors. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Shawn Dustin Clark and Jared A. Means. He is survived by his wife, Terry Jo (Shelton) Clark of Letart; one son, Kevin Clark of OH; one daughter, Monica Bowers of Harlan, IN; two grandchildren, Jared and Athena McCreary; one brother, Eda Sherman Clark (Ellen) of San Angelo, TX; one sister-in-law, Deborah Kay Smith (Roger) of Fort Wayne, IN; special aunt, Eunice Rife of Beckley, WV; aunt, Jean Frye of WV and many cousins. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Steven Sanderson officiating. Burial will be private.
