William Henry Wallace

William Henry Wallace III, of Point Pleasant and Winnsboro, SC, went to be with his savior, Jesus Christ Monday, February 15, 2021, with his wife of 55 years and children at his bedside. Bill was born June 11, 1943, to Harriet Louise (Higgins) Wallace and William Henry Wallace Jr. in Point Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Jeffrey Wallace. Bill is survived by his wife Ruth Ann (Sturgeon) Wallace; son William Henry Wallace IV and wife Amy; daughter Diana Lynn Bernstein and husband Stephen; daughter Elizabeth Anne Havard and husband Jesse; sister Judith Kirk and Robert; sister Susan Clarkson and late husband Michael; and brother Steven Wallace and wife Rose.He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, Virginia Blake Wallace, David Andrew Bernstein, Rebecca Lauren Bernstein, Abigail Leigh Cerrato and husband Devin, Michael Alan Bernstein, William Henry Wallace V, Daniel Aaron Bernstein, Natalie Marie Wallace, Joshua James Wallace, Grace Louise Bernstein, Alexandra Lynn Bernstein, Jonathan Wallace Bernstein, Sophia Josephine Bernstein, Annabel Faith Havard, and Avalyn Grace Havard; and one great-grandchild, Avery Wren Cerrato. Bill's greatest joy was his devoted wife, children, and grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with William H. Wallace IV officiating. A private burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Saturday, at the funeral home.Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.
