William Warren Sydenstricker, 59, of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. He was born February 16, 1952 in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Warren William Sydenstricker and Doshie Mae (Siders) Sydenstricker. William was an Evangelist in the Pentecostal Church. He was also a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1970, and a former bus driver for Mason County Schools for many years. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Helen M. (Bonecutter) Sydenstricker of Huntington; two daughters, Shirley J. Sydenstricker of Huntington, and Sharon J. (Phil) Porter of South Point, Ohio; one granddaughter, McKayla M. Porter of South Point; four brothers, Richard (Brenda) Sydenstricker of Southside, Virgil (Vanessa) Queen of Point Pleasant, Cecil (Mary) Queen of Point Pleasant, and Birdie (Bertha) Queen of Southside; one sister, Martha (Johnny) Hoschar of Pomeroy, Ohio. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Elder Dennis Wright officiating.
