William "Bill" Carl Barger, 73, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at home.
He was born February 8, 1951, in Fort Eustis, VA, a son of the late William Herbert Barger and Katherine Ramona (Flowers) Barger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Thomas.
Bill was a graduate of Denbigh High School Class of 1969 and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a retired Chief Engineer from AEP River Transportation. Bill enjoyed drawing, painting and building models.
He is survived by his two sons, Marlin Capen (Whitney) Barger of Point Pleasant and Roger Bruce Pauley of Point Pleasant; four grandchildren, Michael Caden Barger, Cyleigh Dawne Barger, Liam Bruce St. Clair and Jaxton Ryan St. Clair all of Point Pleasant; two brothers, Jimmy (Brenda) Barger and Johnny Barger both of VA; one sister, Delores Thomas of VA; and June Barger, a special friend and mother to Marlin Capen Barger and Roger Bruce Pauley.
In honoring Bill's wishes, there will be no public services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is in charge of arrangements.
