Wendi Dawn Rollins, 32, beloved daughter of Donald & Barbara Rollins, born on April 2, 1975 in Gallipolis, OH, was welcomed into the presence of her Savior on August 16, 2007. Wendi was a 1993 graduate of Point Pleasant High School and attended the University of Rio Grande with an emphasis in music. She dedicated her life to the Lord through music, singing with Celebration of Praise. She was a vital part of River City Fellowship not only as a member, but also as their worship leader. She also enjoyed working at Willa's Bible Bookstore. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara K. Rollins and uncle Danny Rollins. Wendi is survived by her father, Donald E. Rollins, sisters Beth A. Rollins, and Cassie Bumgarner, all of Point Pleasant, WV, and Carrie Bumgarner Black of Columbus, OH, as well as aunts and uncles Danny & Judy Gibson, Helen Rollins, Donald & Gege Withrow, Gary and Pam Balser, and extended family and friends who were faithful to show their dedication, love, and care. Today, because of her unwavering faith, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is forever at home with the Savior she faithfully served. Visitation will be held at New Hope Bible Baptist Church located at 3 Robinson Street, Point Pleasant on Friday, August 17, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. A celebration of her life will also be at New Hope on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at 1 p.m. with Pastor John M. O'Brien officiating. Burial will follow at the Jackson County Memory Gardens in Cottageville, WV.
