Wendell Emmet Jordan

Wendell Emmet Jordan, 33, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, died Monday, October 29, 2012 in an automobile accident at Gallipolis Ferry. He was born July 30, 1979, in Point Pleasant, WV, the son of Clara Virginia (Jeffers) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry and the late David O'Neal Jordan. Wendell attended the Gospel Tabernacle of Point Pleasant, graduated from Point Pleasant High School Class of 1998, and was a service worker for Domino's in Point Pleasant and Eleanor, WV. In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Wyatt Cameron Thomas Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry; fiance, Kelly Redmond of Gallipolis Ferry; two sisters, Virginia Long of Gallipolis Ferry, and Tammy (J.P.) Hollingsworth of Georgia; two brothers, David Jordan and Davie Jordan of Point Pleasant; two nieces, Brittany and Casie; three nephews, David, Matthew, and Perry; and many aunts and uncles. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Southside, WV.
