Wanda Lucille Hollingshead, 85, of Point Pleasant died Monday, October 10, 2011, at home. She was born March 14, 1926 in Hogsett, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence Stanley Burris and Grace (Lanier) Burris Glover. Wanda was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Point Pleasant. She was also a former employee of Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Roush Hollingshead; one infant daughter; a stepdaughter, Jane Camden; three sisters, Opal Stover, Marie Wood, and Beulah Burris; and two brothers, Everett Burris and Odis Burris. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Harry Queen of Point Pleasant; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Becky Hollingshead of Ashville, Ohio; two stepsons, Paul (Betty) Hollingshead of Vinton, Ohio, and James (Vickie) Hollingshead of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren, Thomas "T.J." Roach, Jeremy Roach, Heather Hollingshead, Gracie Queen and Do Lan Anh; seven step grandchildren, Sherry Hollingshead, Paul Hollingshead Jr., Nathan Hollingshead, Todd Camden, Robert Camden, Brittany Hollingshead, and J.R. Queen; one brother, Myron Burdell (Minnie) Burris of Mansfield, Ohio; a special niece, Betty Roach of Point Pleasant; and a dear friend, Cora Poling of Gallipolis, Ohio. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 13, 2011 at First Church of the Nazarene in Point Pleasant with Rev. James Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart, WV. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant and one hour prior to the service at the church Thursday.
