Wanda Lee Henry

Wanda Lee Henry, 81, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, went to be with her Lord Monday, February 20, 2012 at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born January 8, 1931 in Ripley, WV, a daughter of the late David Parson and Dolly (Bennett) Parson. Wanda was a homemaker and member of the Henderson Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelsey William Henry; seven brothers, Roscoe, Buster, George, Jimmy, Dan, Lockie, and Robert Parson; and six sisters, Mary Jane Thornton, Ruth Bonecutter, Bessie Fultz, Inez Hoschar, Essie Lane, and Dorothy McKinney. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kelsey Lee and Leota Henry of Gallipolis Ferry; three grandchildren, Dr. Kelsey M. (Tessie) Henry of Gallipolis Ferry, Jason (Lindsey) Henry of Point Pleasant, and Kalena (Cliff) Wheeler of Louisville, OH; and 8 great grandchildren, Kylie Henry, Kelsey Henry, Kayla Henry, Kourtney Henry, Makenzie Wheeler, Collin Wheeler, Liam Henry, and Naomie Henry. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2012, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Minister Bill Deem officiating.
