Walter Franklin Stephens

Walter Franklin Stephens, 76, of Leon, WV, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at his home. He was born March 21, 1946, in Leon, a son of the late Irvin Auto Stephens and Ida Opal (Rollins) Stephens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Fultz and Edna Seberig; and four brothers, Owens Stephens, Dean Stephens, Herman Richard Stephens and Ervin Ray Stephens. Walter was a retired welder from CSX Railroad with 26 years of service and served his country in the United States Army. He is survived by his companion, Dorothy Blankenship of Leon. There will be no public services and a private burial will be at Mount Zion Cemetery in Leon, WV. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
