Virginia "Ginny" L. Shaw

Virginia L. "Ginny" Shaw, 74, of New Haven, WV, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born June 2, 1943, in Kantner, PA, a daughter of the late Jesse M. Armantrout and Elizabeth M. (Barr) Armantrout. Virginia attended the Mason United Methodist Church in Mason, WV. She was a graduate of Mullens High School, a Dance Instructor and retired as Regional Vice President from Peoples Bank in Point Pleasant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gene Armantrout. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Denise Shaw of Point Pleasant and Michelle (Will) Sexton of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren, Jacqueline (Bobby) Hobbs, Jenna Fields, Beau Wallace, Taylor Sexton, and Katie Sexton; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Ray (Eva) Armantrout of Point Pleasant; a sister-in-law, Sandra Armantrout of Richmond, VA; special friend, Amy Grate; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. A graveside service and burial will be 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV.
