Violet "Vickie" Miller

Violet M. "Vickie" Miller, 82, of Point Pleasant died Tuesday, June 19, 2007, in Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Point Pleasant. Vickie was a homemaker and a member of Main Street Baptist Church, Point Pleasant. Born December 4, 1924 in Charleston, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Edith Pauley Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren F. "Pete" Miller, and sister, Virginia Evans. Surviving are her children, Chuck and Patti Miller of Nashville, Tenn., and Melanie Miller Hamilton of Charlotte, N.C.; a granddaughter, Kara Moberley; a brother, Thomas Adkins of Lawton, Okla.; and special friends, the family of Hiram Daughter, Jeff and Belinda Clark, Travis and April Schultz and Jean Wise. Private graveside service will be held Friday, June 22, in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant.
