Vera Lea Jones

Vera Lea Jones, 13, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. She was born October 17, 2008, in Huntington, a daughter of Zach Jones and Amy Dunford. Vera was preceded in death by a sister, Karie Jean Dickens; and paternal grandfathers, David Jones and Franklin Dickens. She is survived by her father, Zach Jones of Crown City, OH; mother and stepfather, Amy Danielle Dunford and Joshua David Dickens of Point Pleasant; siblings, twin sister Ava Jean Jones, Ivan Emmanuel Jones, Kelsey Danielle Dunford, Kirsten Alliah Dunford, Katina Ivy Dickens, Joshua Caleb Dickens, Haleigh Dawn Dunford, and Kelsie Megan Koppenhaver; maternal grandparents, Martin and Elizabeth Dunford of Bradenton, FL and Cynthia Dunford of Proctorville, OH; paternal grandparents, Kevin and Linda Gaul of Point Pleasant and Sherri Jones of Crown City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Lonnie Coats officiating.
