Tonda Lynn Mccarty Nelson

Tonda Lynn (McCarty) Nelson, 27, of Southside, died on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Apple Grove, WV. She was born August 9, 1983 in Point Pleasant, a daughter of John Lester McCarty and Connie Lynn (Bush) McCarty of Southside. Tonda was a homemaker, attended Rodney Pike Church of God, and was a Point Pleasant High School graduate with the Class of 2001. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Adam McCarty; maternal grandparents, Harold Jr. and Vonceil Bush; and paternal grandparents, Clarence "Blackie" and Geneva McCarty. In addition to her parents, John and Connie; she is survived by her life partner and father of her children, Keith Aaron Nelson; three children, Chase Aaron Adam Nelson, Chance Dakota Keith Nelson, and Chandler Kenneth John Nelson, all of Southside; one brother, Eric "Scottie" (Shannon) Warden of Eleanor, WV; nieces and nephews, Taylor Elizabeth Warden of Mason, WV, Aden John Scott Warden of Eleanor, and Nevaeh Shane Warden of Eleanor; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Ron Bynum officiating.
