Thomas William Edgar

Thomas William Edgar, 37, of Bidwell, Ohio died Monday, November 26, 2007 in Bidwell. Tommy was a member of the Cheshire Baptist Church, had served in the U. S. Navy, and was an electrician for Brown Electric, and a member of the IBEW #317 of Huntington, WV He was born January 16, 1970 in Gallipolis, Ohio to Bob and Linda (Bailey) Edgar of Point Pleasant. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Karen Sue (Reynolds) Edgar of Bidwell; a son, Thomas William Edgar II of Bidwell; step children, Monica Helms and Josh Helms of Bidwell; step granddaughter, Baylee Helms of Bidwell; brother, Rob and Tina Edgar of Hurricane, WV; sister, Tammy and Kirby Hill of Hartford, WV; a father-in-law, George Kent; a grandfather-in-law; Charles Roush; aunts and uncles, Rhonda and Randy Nicewonder of Peterstown, WV, Anne and Charlie Byus of Letart, WV, Agnes and Pat Wandling of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Michael and Carlene Edgar of Columbus, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Hannah and Seth Edgar, Logan and Alex Hill, Madison and Mitchell Holmes, and Isaiah and Gracelyn Reynolds; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Tim and Kim Holmes of Texas, and Buck and Teresa Reynolds of Bidwell and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Gertrude Edgar and Thomas and Doris Bailey; and mother-in-law, Donna Kent. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Suncrest Cemetery in Point Pleasant with Pastor Steve Little officiating. Burial will follow in the Suncrest Cemetery with Military graveside rites by the American Legion Post # 23 of Point Pleasant. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, November 29, 2007 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Trust Fund for Thomas William Edgar II, at the Ohio Valley Bank in Point Pleasant, WV.
