Thomas C. Leonard

Thomas C. Leonard, 67, of Pomeroy, OH, died Saturday, April 11, 2015 in McArthur, OH. He was born July 24, 1947, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Phillip Leonard and Nellie Mae (McCoy) Leonard. Tom was a mechanic for Dresser Industries of Columbus, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Ella Ashley; and two brothers, Charles Leonard and Richard Leonard. He is survived by one daughter, Shelley (Marty) Ryan of Grove City, OH; two grandsons, Andrew Ryan and Zachary Ryan of Grove City; brothers, Joseph Leonard, Stephen Leonard, Phillip Leonard, and George Leonard all of Columbus; sisters, Dorothy Dellinger of FL, Jean Leport of WV, Patricia Knopp of VA, Wilma Wilson of Columbus, Peggy Foreman of Columbus and Barbara McKean of Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Minister Phillip Leonard officiating.
