Theanna "Jo" Greathouse

Theanna "Jo" Greathouse, 87, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born July 21, 1928, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Toney Arkon and Cordia V. (Duffield) Butcher. Jo was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Point Pleasant and was an avid square dancer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Greathouse; one sister, Marie Woods; and brother, Charles Arkon. She is survived by one daughter, Debby (Delmas) Jividen of Barboursville; two sons, Glen (Rhonda) Greathouse of Amarillo, TX and Ronnie (Frieda) Greathouse of Point Pleasant; six grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) Sayre, Tad (Emily Jones) Greathouse, Christopher (Yun Ling) Jividen, Erika Greathouse, Blair Greathouse, Cody (Kaula) Greathouse. Jo's last 20 years were spent with such a special man, Mack Bauer her everything. She also leaves behind a very grateful family that was blessed to be loved and cared for by her. A funeral service will be 3 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Warren Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
