Susan Lynn Cook

Susan Lynn Cook, 69, of Point Pleasant, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2022, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, in Huntington, WV. She was born November 25, 1952, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Robert Edwin See and Dorothy Marie (Meadows) See Spurlock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Richard Spurlock. Susan was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School. She was a homemaker, mother and former co-owner of Womeldorff & Thomas Hardware. She was an animal lover, who left behind two special dogs and a cat. She is survived by her husband, Bob Cook of Point Pleasant; son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Carl and Sarah Cook of Point Pleasant; daughter and son-in-law, Courtney and Christian Fernandez of California, Maryland; three grandchildren, Mari Williams, Bizzy Fernandez and Isaac Fain; and a brother, Robert See Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Mason County Animal Shelter, c/o Mason County Commission, 200 6th Street, Point Pleasant, WV 25550. A private graveside service and burial will be held at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, in Point Pleasant. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
