Steve Taylor

Steve Taylor, 70, of Point Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV.

He was born May 5, 1954 to Dale Taylor and the late Florence Taylor.

Steve worked at Shelly Company and The Olen Corporation and was a retired Crane Operator from Valley Inc. in Millwood, WV. He enjoyed watching Nascar, riding his motorcycle and spending time at the beach.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dirk Taylor and Timothy "Bo" Taylor.

He is survived by his partner of 27 years, Jill Burris of Point Pleasant; two sons, Jason (Alicia) Taylor of Point Pleasant and Daniel (Tiesha) Taylor of Palm Coast, FL; four grandchildren, Peyton Taylor of Point Pleasant, Preston Taylor of Point Pleasant, Emma Taylor of Palm Coast, FL and Chloe Taylor of Palm Coast, FL; father, Dale Taylor of Ravenswood, WV; a sister, Deborah Taylor of Rotonda, West FL; two brothers, Robert "Bob" (Linda) Taylor of Point Pleasant and Dennis (Angie) Taylor of Scott Depot, WV; nieces and nephews, Michael Taylor of Lexington, KY, Ashley Taylor of Point Pleasant, Monica Siders of Gallipolis, OH, Olivia Balas of Mechanicsburg, VA, Nick Taylor of Point Pleasant, Alexa Taylor of Lexington, KY, Ryan Taylor of Scott Depot, Bryant Taylor of Akron, OH and Lindsay Taylor of Tiffin, OH; and a special little niece, Rowsey Vanscoy.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Mark Oliver officiating. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
