Steven Lloyd Bennett

Steven Lloyd Bennett, 65, of Point Pleasant, passed away at home Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

He was born January 16, 1959 to the late James Russell Bennett and Eleanor Joann (Rayburn) Bennett.

Steven previously worked as a laborer at Quality Woods in Eleanor, WV and attended First Church of God in Point Pleasant.

He is survived by his sister, Carol (Gene) Bennett Carter; three nieces, Jennifer (Tim) LaMar, Holly (Ben) Sowinski and Shannon (Chad) Williams; one nephew, Brian (Zhanna) Powell; multiple great nieces and nephews; and favorite aunt Barbara Burhts.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Matt Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery in Letart. The family will receive friends one hours prior to the funeral service Monday at the funeral home.
