Silas B. Jeffers

Silas B. Jeffers, 54, of Southside, WV, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born April 18, 1957 in Southside, a son of the late Robert F. Jeffers and Betty Imogene (Hudson) Jeffers. Silas attended Hambrick Church of Southside and was a laborer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Jeffers and William Jeffers. He is survived by brothers, Perry (Rose) Jeffers and Michael Jeffers of Southside; twin brother, Paul (Misty) Jeffers of Abington, VA; sisters, Juanita Walker of Apple Grove, Clara (David) Jordan of Gallipolis Ferry, Lucy (Bert) Flora of Southside, Linda (Gilbert) Logan of Henderson, and Maxine (Darrell) Coyner of Scott Depot, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Bert Flora officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Southside.
