Shirley Anne Newman

Shirley Anne Newman, 60, of Point Pleasant, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 at home. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant, and a homemaker. Shirley was born March 22, 1949 in Henderson, daughter of the late Ruby (Putney) Richardson. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, William F. Richardson. Surviving is her husband, Waymer "Buddy" Newman of Point Pleasant; a sister, Diana (Lester) See; two brothers, James (Cindy) Richardson, and Dean Richardson; a niece, Amber See; and three nephews, James Richardson, Cody See, and Colt See all of Point Pleasant. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Matthew Dotson and Rev. Janice Smith officiating.
