Shelia Marie Flora

Shelia Marie Flora, 69, of Apple Grove, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at home.

She was born January 28, 1956, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Marvin Holley and Blondiena (Moncastle) Holley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, David Holley; and a brother-in-law, Johnny Ball.

Shelia was a member of Ashton Baptist Church and a retired Teachers Aide with Mason County Schools.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William Edgar Flora of Apple Grove; three children, Diana (Ginny) Adkins of Fraziers Bottom, WV, Cindy (Joey) Hess of Winfield, WV and Derick (Cassey) Flora of Milton, WV; five grandchildren, Patrick (Rachel) Flora, Ashley (J.R.) Marion, Alivia Hess, David Flora and Chase (Kristin) Adkins; four great grandchildren, Noah Marion-Flora, Cora Adkins, Theo Adkins and Willamae Adkins; a brother, Jim (Janet) Holley of Florida; a sister, Judy Ball of Bristow, VA; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Litchfield of Apple Grove; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Greg Barton, Pastor Tony Stover and Pastor Brian May officiating. Burial will follow at Apple Grove Memorial Gardens in Apple Grove. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
