Sheila Ann Elkins

Sheila Ann Elkins, 77, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, February 24, 2023 at Pleasant Valley Hospital.

She was born November 6, 1945, in Mason, a daughter of the late Robert William Greer and Mildred Isabelle (Powell) Greer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley E. Elkins; infant daughter Melissa; and brothers, Toby Greer and Paul "Dwight" Greer.

Ann was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Point Pleasant. She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School and worked as a waitress.

She is survived by brothers, Robert W. "Bobby" and wife Donna Greer of Point Pleasant and David "Dwain" Greer of Point Pleasant; sisters, Carla Jane and husband J.O. Miller of Gallipolis, OH and Miriam "Sug" Greer of Point Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Ronnie Tote officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
