Sharon Kay Templeton

Sharon Kay Templeton, 74, of Glenwood, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at home. She was born August 6, 1947, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Lawrence F. Roberts and Nellie G. (Northup) Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen R. Templeton; a grandson, Joshua James Templeton; sister, Barbara Ann Roberts; and one brother, Marvin Roberts. Sharon was a member of the Christian Valley Church of Christ in Glenwood.She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1966 and a former caregiver with the Mason County Action in Point Pleasant. She is survived by sons, Timothy L. (Shelia) Templeton of Gallipolis Ferry and Craig R. ( Jenny Stover) Templeton of Glenwood; grandchildren, T.J. (Erica) Templeton, Tiffany (Mike) Oberley, Jacob Templeton, Ashley Templeton, Nicholas (Tewona) Templeton, Stephen (Hannah) Templeton, Taylor Templeton and Michael Burris; great-grandchildren, Taylor Hammond, Landon Hammond Templeton, Timmy Templeton, Sammy Templeton, Noah Oberley, Leah Oberley, Jaliyah Templeton, Daiyah Templeton and Ariatt Templeton; and her fur babies, Max, Mandy and Mickey. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Ronnie Wright officiating.Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry.The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral service Wednesday at the funeral home.
