Sharon Lynn Brown

Sharon Lynn Brown, 65, of Point Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. She was born October 15, 1955, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Rev. Lue D. Wroten and Norma Jean (Holley) Wroten. Sharon was a graduate of Hannan High School Class of 1973 and attended College Hill Church at Gallipolis Ferry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lee Brown; a daughter, Teonna Lee Brown; an infant brother, Lou Dewayne Wroten; and in-laws, James Lee and Betty Brown. Sharon is survived by two daughters, Tahlea Hudson and fiancé Troy Meaige of Point Pleasant and Teka Brown of Point Pleasant; six grandsons, Zachary Hudson, Camron Long, Trey Tucker, Trenton Tucker, Trevor Tucker and Travis Tucker; sisters, Donna Hughes of Gallipolis Ferry and Joyce (Danny) Smith of Winfield, AL; brothers Roger (Martha) Wroten of Glenwood and Kenny Wroten of Rio Grande, OH; and fur baby Ace. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 5, 2021, at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Jessica Queen officiating.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday, at the funeral home.
