Sandra P. Eads

Sandra P. (Mayes) Eads, 73, of Henderson, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, OH. She was born August 28, 1945, in Henderson, a daughter of the late George A. Mayes and Helen R. (Pearson) Mayes. Sandra was a member of the Henderson Church of Christ and had worked for the Autism Services Center of Huntington, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Anna Lee Stephens and a brother, George William Mayes. She is survived by two daughters, Jessica (Clayton) Wood of Henderson and Sandi Wears and fiance Robbie Greene of Letart; four grandchildren, Shayla (Wears) Hager and Shane, Landon Wood, Conner Wood and Kynlee Bush; and one great-grandchild, Shanley Hager. She is also survived by three sisters, Dottie Eads of Point Pleasant, Shirley Dressler of Zanesville, OH and June Roberts of Point Pleasant; a brother, Eddie (Betty) Mayes of Point Pleasant; father of her children, Roy Eads of Point Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Evangelist Bill Deem officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Friday at the funeral home.
