Samuel Everson Lewis

Samuel Everson Lewis, 69, of West Columbia, WV, formerly of Moorefield, WV, died Friday, June 14, 2019, at Lakin Hospital in West Columbia. He was born March 9, 1950, in Moorefield, a son of the late Melvin William Lewis and Gaye Rebecca (See) Lewis. Samuel was retired from the State of West Virginia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter. Samuel is survived by two sisters, Betty Strawderman and Charlotte Mongold of Moorefield, WV; four brothers, Timothy Lewis and Roger Lewis both of Petersburg, WV, Lawrence Lewis of Moorefield, WV and John Lewis of Morgantown, WV. There will be no public services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
