Sadie Marie Wilson, 69, of New Haven, WV, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, OH.She was born May 9, 1948, in Ashton, WV, a daughter of the late Dolly Marie Waugh. Sadie was a member of Balls Chapel Church and a graduate of Hannan High School.In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, John S. Wilson; one sister, Sue Thacker; two nephews, David A. Sturgeon and Harry Sturgeon; and two nieces, Hazel L. Sturgeon and Martina V. Sturgeon.Sadie is survived by a daughter, Ashley Wilson of Sante Fe, Florida; and one sister, Dixie Sturgeon of New Haven.A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Pastor Tom Beckett, Pastor Claudia Thomas and Pastor Nancy Mayes officiating. Burial will follow at Balls Chapel Cemetery in Ashton.
