Ryan Eugene Ronquillo, 25, of Point Pleasant died Monday, December 18, 2006 in Point Pleasant. Ryan had served in the U. S. Army during Afghanistan and the Iraq War, and was a cook at Bennigans Grill in Point Pleasant. He was born October 5, 1981 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Fred Ronquillo of Salt Lake City, and the late Karen Sue (Schultz) Hall. In addition to his mother, paternal grandparents, Dan and Edith Ronquillo; maternal grandfather, Reevis Schultz, and uncle Gary Schultz preceded him in death. Surviving in addition to his father is a sister, Ashley K. Litchfield of Point Pleasant; brothers, Todd Hall of Salt Lake City, and J. D. Ronquillo of Salt Lake City, maternal grandmother, Marceline (Robbins) Schultz; aunts and uncles, Eugene and Lora Chapman, Roger and Beverly Schultz, Bessie Fields, Stanley and Millie Duncan, Charlie Grimes, Vance Schultz, Ed and Jamie Grimes, Margie Brown, Kellie Schultz Barker, Elly Ronquillo, Nora Hardy, Phil and Dee Jay, Tina (Ronquillo) Sharp, Danny and Bev Ronquillo. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2006 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, with Military graveside rites by American Legion Post #23 of Point Pleasant. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
