Russell Wayne Dabney

Russell Wayne Dabney, 71, of Point Pleasant, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV.He was born May 11, 1947, a son of the late Russell "Doc" Dabney and Hilda Frances (Mayes) Dabney. Russell had worked as a security guard for Federal Mogul in Gallipolis, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Dean Dabney. Russell is survived by two brothers, Walter (Barbara) Dabney of Point Pleasant and Tommy (Sue) Dabney of Point Pleasant. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Ronnie Cremeans officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Cemetery in Apple Grove. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service Saturday at the funeral home.
