Ruby Elizabeth Lane

Ruby Elizabeth Lane, 76, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully with her family by her side Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

She was born August 3, 1947, in Winona, WV, a daughter of the late Pete Dallas Teel and Lora Pearl (Hunt) Teel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry R. Lane; brothers, Freddy Paul Teel and Pete Dallas Teel Sr.; and sisters, Phyllis June Alexandra, Polly Marie Small, Willivine Hundley, Garnet Hantak and Georgie Ann Spence.

Ruby was a good Christian woman.  She was a graduate of Nuttall High School Class of 1965 and a homemaker.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Charles R. and Jennifer Lane of Point Pleasant and Alan James Burruss Jr. of Crown City, OH; one brother, Norman Leroy Teel of Jackson, MI; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In honoring Ruby's wishes there will be no public services.  Burial will be at the convenience of her family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
