Ruby Irene Huddleston

Ruby I. Huddleston, 82, of Henderson, WV, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, February 2, 2015, at the home of her daughter. She was born February 28, 1932, in Henderson, a daughter of the late Robert Henry Siders Sr. and Jennie Belle (Willet) Siders. Ruby attended New Hope Bible Baptist Church in Point Pleasant. She was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School Class of 1950 and retired with 30 years service from Kroger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. "Mike" Huddleston; five sisters, Jennie Stewart, Nannie Nibert, Millie Bonecutter, Anna Siders and Hazel Siders; and three brothers, Robert H. Siders Jr., Worthy Siders Sr. and Eli H. "Mousie" Siders. She is survived by two daughters, Sheila L. (Myc) Harrison of Gallipolis, OH and Debra M. Thevenin of Point Pleasant; a son, Charles Michael "Bubby" Huddleston of Point Pleasant; and two sisters, Jessie (Harold) Rulen of Hurricane, WV and Emma McCarty of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Denise (Keith) Hill, Starr (Tara) Thevenin, Lindsay Huddleston, and Jeremy (Nikki) Harrison; 15 great grandchildren, Dylan Stone, Tristan Stone, Tyler Hill, Sydni Hill, Parker (Ciara) Hill, Evan Hill, Lathan Harrison, Reed Harrison, Myc Harrison, Jordan Thevenin, Trenton Thevenin, Kate Thevenin, Desi Thevenin, Madison Thevenin, and Alivia Thevenin; and one great-great grandson, Connor Stone. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2015, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Dean Warner and Pastor Steven Sanderson officiating.
