Ruby Mae Ball

Ruby Mae Ball, 57, of Point Pleasant died Thursday, August 3, 2006 at Women and Childrens Hospital in Charleston, WV, after a long battle with cancer. She was born March 18, 1949 in Mason County to the late William C. Dunn and Wilma Lee (Jones) Dunn. Ruby was employed at Pleasant Valley Hospital as a licensed practical nurse, a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Point Pleasant, and a Mary Kay consultant. Surviving are her daughter, Denise Payne of Ashton, WV; two grandchildren, Tabitha Payne and C. J. Payne of Ashton, sisters and brothers-in-law, Susie and Dean Jordan of Apple Grove, Linda and Kendal Ashworth of Ashton, WV, and Ruth Riggs of Apple Grove, WV; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the Barton Chapel Church with Pastor Ron Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Potts Cemetery in Apple Grove. Visitation will be Friday, August 4, 2006 from 6-9 p.m. at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. The family will gather at the Barton Chapel Fellowship Hall Saturday after the services, the fellowship hall will be open after 11:00 a.m. for those who would like to drop off food.
