Ruby G. Allinder

Ruby G. Allinder, 96, of Point Pleasant, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at her home. She was born June 26, 1926, in Putnam County, WV, a daughter of the late James W. Holcomb and Hattie L. (Carpenter) Holcomb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Allinder; a son, Charles Sayre; grandchildren, Kelley Sayre and April Bascue; brothers, Jim, Shannon, Willard and Millard Holcomb; and sisters, Opal Holcomb and Erma Wymer. Ruby was retired from Pleasant Valley Hospital with 30 years service as a dietary aide. She is survived by a son, Michael (Marie) Edwards of Point Pleasant; one daughter, Connie (Jim) Rohr of Kingwood, WV; grandchildren, Michael (Allyson) Sayre, Risa Sayre, Angie Tracy, Danny Lear, Rusty (Rachel) Lear, Julia (Tim) Roush and Amy (David) Hill; great-grandchildren, Dakotah Pollock, Erica Hamilton, Nathan Tracy, Joseph McComas, Joshua Bascue, Elizabeth Roush, Olevia Gibbs, Kayla Thorne, Samantha Thorne, Dalton Lear, Jordan Lear, Sidney Lear, Ian Lear, Landry Lear, Aydan Lear and Devin Lear; 10 great-great-grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews. A graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2022, at Lone Oak Cemetery in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Doug Hendrixson officiating.
