Rosemary (Riffle) Blain

Rosemary (Riffle) Blain, 73, Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant. She was born January 11, 1947, a daughter of the late Clarence Riffle and Alice Louise (Hobbs) Boegli. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wayne Blain; a brother, Larry Riffle; and two sisters, Nancy See and Cheryl Roush. Rosemary was a member of Pleasant View Church at Gallipolis Ferry and had worked as a custodian at the Mason County Courthouse. She is survived by three sons, Howard D. (Teri) Blain of Gallipolis Ferry, Jeff Blain of Gallipolis Ferry and Jimmy Blain of Point Pleasant; five grandchildren, Dexi, Ben, Myria, Maddie and Steven; two great grandchildren, a sister, Brenda Riffle of Gallipolis Ferry; and one brother, Kenny (Marcella) Riffle of Gallipolis Ferry. A graveside service and burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at Apple Grove Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Ted Nance officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant. Social distancing will be observed and face masks are required.
