Rosa Mae Shank

Rosa Mae Shank, 86, of Ashton, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 22, 2010. She was born November 3, 1924 in Glenwood, WV, a daughter of the late Edward and Della Powell. Rosa was a homemaker, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Violet Gibson; and two brothers, James Kenneth Powell and Garrett Powell. Rosa is survived by her husband of 63 years, Herschel Shank; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and James Green of Milton; a granddaughter, Amy Hughes and husband Mike of Milton; and a great grandson, Evan Hughes of Milton. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday November 27, 2010 at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Richard Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt.
