Ronald "Dude" Eugene Lyons

Ronald "Dude" Eugene Lyons, 76, of Mason died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at home. He was born March 23, 1935 in West Columbia, WV, a son of the late Jess Robert Lyons and Freda Marie (Lee) Lyons. Dude was a graduate of Wahama High School Class of 1955, had retired from Southern Ohio Coal Company, and was a member of United Mine Workers District No. 6. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Stewart. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Ann (Elswick) Lyons of Mason; one daughter, Audrey Marie Lyons of Mason; a son, Stephen Allan Lyons of Mason; two grandchildren, Michelle Bledsoe and Christian Jess Lyons of Mason; and one sister Margaret Casto of Mason. There will be no services. Private burial will be observed. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
