Roger Shane Byer

Roger Shane Byer, 62, of Clifton, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021. He was born March 10, 1959, in Gallipolis, OH, a son of the late Robert Wayne Byer and Reta Kay (Graham) Wheeler of Point Pleasant. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory A. Byer. Shane was a former mate of Ingram Barge Company with 20 yrs. service and enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his mother Kay; mother of his children, Dionne (Brace) Byer; children, Robert Shane Weslie Byer, Shayna KayAnn Byer and Gracey Mae Byer; grandsons, Cameron, Aiden and John Michael; sisters, Teresa A. Byer and Pamela D. Pickens; a half-sister, Leann (Bobby) Crisenberry; and a brother, John R. (Stephanie) Byer. A private family service will be held at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home, with Pastor Joe Nott officiating.
