Roger Dale Bonecutter

Roger Dale Bonecutter, 75, of Gallipolis Ferry, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant.

He was born February 25, 1947, in Gallipolis Ferry, a son of the late Leland Von Bonecutter and Mary Kathern (Pearson) Bonecutter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Kevin Dale Bonecutter and Jamie Ray Bonecutter; and brothers, Garland, Donald and Charles Bonecutter.

Roger was the Pastor of the Wyoma Pentecostal Church in Gallipolis Ferry.  He was retired from the Operators Union as a pilot.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Opal Ann (Decker) Bonecutter of Gallipolis Ferry; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Diana Bonecutter of Bidwell, OH; grandsons, Ryan Dale (Brooke) Bonecutter, Hunter Ray Bonecutter, Jamie Ray Bonecutter all of Point Pleasant; step grandchildren, Jacob Eblin and Jennifer Eblin; one great-grandson, Ronan Lee Bonecutter; and a step great-grandson, Jaxon Doolittle.

A graveside service and burial will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2023, at the Wyoma Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry, with Roger McCallister officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
