Roberta Aline (Brady) Umbarger, 85, of Bidwell, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019, at home. She was born January 23, 1934, in Cowen, WV, a daughter of the late Lewis Amos Brady and Rosa Elizabeth (Hammick) Brady. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Wilson and Betty Lilly; a brother, Richard Brady; and one grandson, Jason Glover. Roberta was of the Pentecostal faith and retired from Rockwell with 20 years service. She is survived by daughters, Monoka Brady of Bidwell and Reamona Glover of Gallipolis Ferry; a son, Robert (Jody) Umbarger of Point Pleasant; grandchildren, Christa (Joe) Dunlap of Jackson, OH, Gregory (Courtney) Dinguss of Bidwell, Beverly (Carlos Thomas) Halley of Gallipolis, Elizabeth (David) Dobbins of Chillicothe, OH, Kimberly Clark of Bidwell, Matthew (Stella) Glover of Point Pleasant, Brandon Perry and family of Gallipolis Ferry, Jager Umbarger of Athelia, OH and Devon Deering. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, Anthony (Mandie), Nicholas, Alex, Madison, Gage, Payton, C.J., William (Lacie), Halo (Amy), Caitlin, Jamal, Mariah, Whitney, Brianna, Jayden, Haliegh and Kelsa; great-great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Trytan and Deaglan; special family friends, Mandy, Karen Lilly Hall and family, Vera Lilly Buchanan and family and Dale Lilly and family; and very special mention, Debbie Wolford and family, Amy Beth Barber and the Raider family. A funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
