Robert Wayne Bird

Robert Wayne Bird, 45, of Point Pleasant died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at home. He was a truck driver and outdoorsman. He also loved music and was a self-taught guitarist. Robert was born July 19, 1964 in Gallipolis, Ohio to James Lester Bird of Point Pleasant and the late Dorothy P. (Clonch) Bird. In addition to his father, he is survived by his only child, Robyn Bird of Morgantown, WV and canine, Bear; two sisters, Beverly and Rev. George Lockhart of Naples, Florida, and Connie and Glenn McClellan of Scott Depot, WV; two brothers, Jeff and Treva Bird of Hinton, WV, and Doug and Judy Bird of Wellston, Ohio; and his companion, Angie Riggs of Point Pleasant. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2009 at the Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant with Rev. Jim Hadinger and Rev. George Lockhart officiating.
