Rex Allen Wears

Rex Allen Wears, 65, of West Columbia, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Lakin Hospital in West Columbia. He was born September 26, 1956, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Wes Wears and Clara Bell (Smith) Stover. Rex had a love for playing music and was a retired supervisor from Voto Manufacturing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Pearce; brother, Tommy Wears; grandson, Tommy Broyles; and great granddaughter, Kennedy Woodall. Rex is survived by two daughters, Tonya Sue Kirby of West Columbia and Michelle Lea (Martin Jr.) Woodall of Letart; seven grandchildren, Tyler Broyles, Jhon Jhon (Jaycee) Kirby, Bobby Kirby, Jeremy Woodall, Riley Woodall, Jeffery Woodall and Nickie (Brianna) Colburn; five great grandchildren, Kayden Woodall, Braxton Woodall, Noah Woodall, Addie Woodall and Waylon Woodall; two brothers, Lloyd Wears of Southside and Mitchell (Angie) Wears of Point Pleasant; and special friend, Pete Broyles. There will be no public services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant.
