Retha L. Camden, 77, of Point Pleasant, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at home. She was born August 11, 1932 in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Charles Camden and Inez Irene (Rogers) Camden. Retha was a retired custodian from the Mason County Schools with 36 years service at the North Point Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Freddie Camden. Surviving are her very special friend and confidant of 70 years, Doris Stewart of Point Pleasant; one brother, David Camden of Hardin, Montana; a good and caring friend, Pamela Calvert of Racine, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Suncrest Cemetery with Pastor Carl Swisher officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. There will be no visitation.
