Regenia Ann (Nibert) Gillespie, 60, loving wife, mother and gigi of Gallipolis Ferry, died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington, WV. She was born August 11, 1952, in Point Pleasant, a daughter of the late Theodore Nibert and Violet Mae (Clonch) Nibert Cofer. Regenia was a member of Wyoma Pentecostal Church in Gallipolis Ferry, and had worked in sales and customer service with Tampa Tribune Newspaper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Wimpy Gillespie. She is survived by her husband, Steve A. Gillespie of Gallipolis Ferry; one son, David Clayton Thomas of Gallipolis Ferry; a stepson Derrick (Jessica) Gillespie of Point Pleasant; two grandchildren, Liam and Sophie Gillespie of Point Pleasant; aunts, Margie Messick, Mary Dowell and Anne Henry Jordan; one uncle, Harry Nibert Jr.; special cousins, Linda McCarty and Belinda Wymer; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Debby Gillespie, Aaron and Leigha Gillespie, Dawn Gillespie and numerous cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Wyoma Pentecostal Church with Rev. Sonny Mayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyoma Cemetery.
