Randall "Randy" Lewis Wedge, 58, of Point Pleasant, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 23, 2016, at his home. He was born March 17, 1958, in Point Pleasant, a son of the late Lewis Everett Wedge and Alpha Louise (Keefer) Wedge of Point Pleasant. Randy was a retired pilot from AEP River Transportation and a member of United Steel Workers. He graduated from Point Pleasant High School Class of 1976 and was a member of the NRA and the National Wild Turkey Federation. Randy loved life and the freedoms we all enjoy. He is survived by his devoted loving wife, Vickie Lynn (Henzmann) Wedge of Point Pleasant; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Dianne Henzmann; nieces, Kristi Moschel, Molli Salter, and Amanda McNett; mother, Alpha L. Wedge; one sister, Connie Sue and James "Buck" Loomis of Point Pleasant; niece and nephew, Jaden Paige Rhea and Jonathon Dean Rhea; three aunts, Veva Martin, Eleanor Keefer, and Patricia Keefer; and many cousins. A funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Wilcoxen Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Chip Bennett officiating. Burial will follow at Creston Cemetery in Leon. The family will receive friends three hours prior to the funeral service Thursday at the funeral home.
